Confirm the KFI file import location
Attache imports orders in the KFI (Keystroke File Input) format via their ADI module. So it is a requirement that you have the ADI Module installed in Attache. Note: If you do not have it installed, please contact your Attache Partner, or Attache directly.
There are two ways to import a KFI file: as a single user, or system-wide there is no preferred way, and it will depend entirely on your setup. Let's take a look at what we need to configure in the admin to successfully import an order.
Single User
1. Login to the admin area
2. Select Sync>Settings
3. Select the Sync tab.
4. At the bottom of this screen you need to nominate a KFI inbox. Attache will automatically import the KFI when it hits a nominated 'inbox' in their program folder.
5. If you are a single user, the path will be something like c:\attache\companyname\users\username\inbox
6. Your path will be different, but once you find your Attache company folder, the username you are after will be in the user's folder.
7. If there is no inbox folder, you can create one under the username
Multi-User
1. Login to the admin area
2. Select Sync>Settings
3. Select the Sync tab.
4. At the bottom of this screen you need to nominate a KFI inbox. Attache will automatically import the KFI when it hits a nominated 'inbox' in their program folder.
5. If you would like to set it up as a multi-user, the path will be something like c:\attache\companyname\kfidata\inbox
6. Your path will be different, but once you find your Attache company folder you should easily find the kfi data folder
7. If there is no inbox folder, you can create one under the username
