You can display a product as a web special on the site which displays as the image above. With the base or retail price crossed out and the new "special" price displayed below it.
It appears this way on the product listing page and the product info page. Let's take a look at how to set one of these up.
Set a product as a special
1. Login to the admin area
2. Go to Products/Categories > Products
3. Search for the product code in the search box or find it in the list
4. You will be taken to the product admin page for this product
5. On this screen select the Additional Fields tab
6. On the Additional Fields tab, enter the new special price in the Specials ($) field
7. Click the Save button
8. Now find the product on the site and you will see it now has the original price and a special price displaying.
