Order Templates Guide

Using Webninja's order templates, your customers are able to easily build a reusable list of products that they can order regularly. These can be used to create either tailored lists for specific types of products or customer groups, or you can build quick access short-lists as well. 

OVERVIEW

Order templates aren’t restricted to short lists - you can build extensive lists of frequently ordered products and adjust quantities as needed before adding items to your cart.

These templates are fully flexible, allowing you to edit, remove, or add products as your inventory or requirements change.

This video (below) provides a straightforward overview on creating and managing order templates. 

 

Managing Drag & Drop Sorting for Order Templates via Admin

Order templates support customisable product sorting using drag & drop, but this feature is only available on admin-controlled order templates.

 

NOTE: this feature is optional - so if you don't find that it's working on your site after following the steps here - please check with Web Ninja's Support Team as we can easily enable this option for you.

 Once enabled for an admin-controlled template, you’ll be able to reorder products freely by dragging them to the desired order.

Eg.

Note: If drag & drop sorting doesn’t appear to work, double-check:

- that your template is set as “admin controlled.” The feature is not supported for user-controlled templates (eg. where customers create their own order template). If you still experience issues, ensure you have saved your changes and refreshed the page in the CMS Admin of your site.
